The Centre aims to create a network among the scholars and international Centres studying issues such as justice beyond borders; the crisis of institutions; economic inequalities and social problems arising from it; challenges stemming from global politics and climate change; forms of development, and the future of the European integration. ECSE is a research centre of the Faculty of Philosophy of Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan (Italy).
